For corporate events, there is nothing like the Matthew. As your guests step aboard, they will find themselves transported to a world before email, traffic jams, and cell phones. From entertaining to team building, promotions to product launches, we will work with you to create an event your clients will never forget!

Corporate Entertainment
Whether you want to impress your current and future clientele or entertain your out of town business partners, the Matthew provides a truly unique experience. Why not take your clients on an unforgettable cruise aboard Bristol's very own tall ship. Our harbour cruises are suitable for groups of up to 40 and offer your guests a unique view of the city. We offer trips of varying lengths which can include a scheduled stop at the Arnolfini Arts Centre and Cafe/Bar if you wish.

For larger groups, we recommend a static event on the quayside. We can accommodate a larger number of people on the ship as well as overflow space on the quayside under our custom marquee. To add a medieval flare to your event, we can provide a festive spit roast buffet with all the trimmings and vegetarian options.

Pricing
Prices are dependent upon the time of year, day of the week, and length of trip. Below is an outline of our charges, but please do call for a  quote, to discuss details and to check availability:

1 hour £350 - £500
2 hour £500 - £800
3 hour £750 - £1,400

Catering
The Matthew can also provide for your catering needs. Our onboard chef, Bill Butt, has ceated a special range of Medieval inspired cuisine exclusively for the Matthew. Champagne and wines are available as well as a selection of craft beers, organic cider and soft drinks. For business brunches, we offer a continental breakfast buffet served with tea, coffee and juices.

Whether you are looking for a fun day out or want to really challenge your group by going offshore, the Matthew provides a special environment to help you develop your team to its fullest potential.

Team building events are custom designed to suit your company's needs. Let us work with you to create a program that concentrates on the skills you want to develop.

You can bring a team of up to 30 to join the ship for a harbour day in Bristol or up to 12 delegates can join us anywhere during our summer sailing season for a never to be forgotten team building experience.

Case Study.
Nicholas Pearson Associates are a high quality environmental planning and landscape architecture company based in Bath. They were looking for a day of activities that would be fun, but would also get members of the team working together in different ways and thereby get to know each other better.
They took part in a treasure hunt featuring boat rides and harbour landmarks, rigging exercises, and a scenario where the ship was sinking and only good team work involving lots of rope and canvas buckets would save the day!
The grand finale was a champagne cruise around the harbour and the whole day was declared a great success.
