Education

The Matthew is an excellent floating platform and a really memorable hands on experience for students  -  particularly for schools studying explorers as part of their key stage 2 work

we offer reduced rates for students and can normally incorporate a harbour cruise when schools visits take place in Bristol.
The ship is available for schools events in Bristol during January and February 2012. and then from September 2012 onwards.

We have several education workshop weeks allocated in April |May and June 2012 in Falmouth, Cornwall and these visits will be co-ordinated by Stuart Slade and his education team at the national maritime Museum Cornwall. Click here for more details of their work and for contact details.

Pirates -
of course the Matthew looks like a Pirate Ship - as might have been sailed by Captain Hook - We can arrange fun pirate events for kids or, if required, weave in a bit more fact about the classic pirates of old  such as Bristols famous Blackbeard.
